HOW IS LAMINATE VENEER APPLIED?

Laminate Veneer treatment, called porcelain laminate, is a preferred treatment method to give the patient an aesthetic appearance. Laminate Veneer treatment is applied by following the steps below;

First of all, it is necessary to be examined by a dentist. As a result of examining the tooth structure, oral and dental health, the dentist can decide whether Laminate Veneer treatment can be applied or not.

After it is decided that Laminate Veneer treatment will be applied, the tooth surfaces are cleaned. Depending on the patient's pain threshold, the local anesthesia method may be preferred before the cleaning procedure.

Then the teeth are made ready for porcelain veneer. This preparation is the stages of roughening the tooth surfaces and cleaning the tooth surfaces in order to adhere the porcelain laminates to the tooth surfaces. The condition of making the tooth surface rough may differ according to the tooth structure. According to some tooth structures, it is not necessary to make the tooth surfaces rough.

When the teeth are ready in the laboratories, the patient's tooth surfaces are thoroughly cleaned for the last time.

Later, porcelain laminate is adhered to the tooth surface with a special gel.

It is possible to have an aesthetic smile with leaf porcelains within 5 days to 7 days after the above applications are made on your teeth.
